Pixsyn wasn't started in a boardroom. It started with two comp sci majors who watched small businesses — including our own families' — struggle with the same problem, from opposite sides of it.
One of our families ran a small business without a real website or a real social presence. Word of mouth could only carry it so far. Eventually, it wasn't enough — and the business had to close.
The other co-founder's family faced the same gap, but leaned hard into word of mouth and made it work — for a while. It's still no substitute for actually being found online.
We kept coming back to the same question: why does it cost so much to fix this? Most agencies quote small businesses thousands of dollars for a website, before AI systems or automation even enter the conversation. For a lot of Saskatchewan operators, that number alone ends the conversation before it starts.
So we built Pixsyn to close that gap — senior-level websites, SEO, and AI systems, priced and scoped so a real small business can actually say yes to it. Not a stripped-down version of good work. The same caliber of execution, without the overhead that makes it unaffordable.
